Add xanthan gum to thicken and sweetener if needed, to make a dynamite dressing without all the corn syrup in commercial dressings. Although one half teaspoon asafetida used for the Fresh Pea Soup is very strong and just a pinch will produce a piquant flavor. Also in good in tabbouleh.
