Guest guest
> I know how many of you feel about coffee so I just had to pass the word along > Starbuck's . . . Lovely idea - for mostly any coffee spot but Starbucks for me. (Or am I behind times? Are they still sponsoring the rodeos??) Hope it's plain coffee anyway - that latte stuff is loaded with fats and calories and oh dear . . . You know, that's one thing that bothers me now and then since I've changed to vegan and low-fat or fat-free eating: I used to LOVE stopping for a latte and a chat at various coffee shops around town. Sadly, there's only one around here which has soymilk (not Starbucks - cuz this is Canada and I've not seen soymilk at the chains here). Since I don't much like black coffee, I've switched to specialty teas. Very nice - practically have a different one each time I try It's not free though LOL so ya've got me there! Love, Pat
Guest guest
Pat - I just googled Starbucks on the rodeo thing - I had no idea this was happening, but it looks like they've stopped it!!! http://www.sharkonline.org/?P=0000000391 Debra Confidentiality notice: This e-mail message, including any attachments, may contain legally privileged and/or confidential information. Guest guest
Oh I love hot teas - especially herbal ones! I just never order them in restaurants because the wait staff is always so lax in bringing more hot water for refills. As to Starbucks-type places, they don't usually carry the teas I like. I prefer fruited/hibiscus/rose-hippy stuff;) What do you like? Guest guest
i like the stronger stuff....oolong, dragon pearl green or jasmine, earl grey, white tea is nice. I don't generally like herbal tea - really don't care for the fruity stuff! A friend just sent me some rose tea which is really nice & lavender I like too. from Starbuck's I usually get Zen or get mad that they don't have it. I hate ordering it in most restaurants because I HATE Lipton but it's still better than coffee, so i deal. I should just carry my own around.
