Guest guest
Hi Anna and welcome to our group. Congrats on the huge weight loss! And like you said, you're way healthier now even if you never lose another pound! How are you finding veganism living? Was it an easy transition for you? I also met my partner online in an expected way and moved to another state to be with her after being friendly and getting to know to each other for about 1.5 years. Amazing where life leads you isn't it? Again, welcome! Cindi, co-owner of group with Pat Anna <rodstruelove wrote: Hi all, I'm Anna, a new member and I just wrote a bit about my weight loss already ... having lost 91 pounds to date, and now in a plateau, I've gone vegan (for many reasons). I'm originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, but now live in Australia. I bought something on eBay a few years back and was overcharged $1 -- so I emailed the guy and corrected the cost -- we started talking and one thing led to another. Now I live in Australia and we're married! Anyway, trying to break the plateau and looking for help and advice. I'm 43 years old and have been vegan 2 months now. My husband is still an omnivore, so it means making my own separate meals most of the time, but he's supportive of my choices. Anna . Guest guest
Welcome, Anna - and what a romantic story about meeting your partner on line I wonder if there are many more like yourselves. (Noted, of course, that Cindi also met hers on line - Wow - not sure I heard that before!) Hope you enjoy our little group Good luck with the weight loss - it's miserable to hit plateaux, of course, but as long as you're enjoying the food you eat and are committed to the new lifestyle, you can always be patient and sure that you will start to lose again. If not, re-examine what you're eating and consider doing away with the things that 'go to the hips' or that make you hungry and want to eat more (sometimes the same thing). Best of luck. Love, Pat (Co-Owner of group with Cindi)
Guest guest
Not as difficult as I thought it would be! It's odd only because my husband has not made the switch, just me. It would be easier if we were both vegan. But he has no interest in making the change. Anna On 23/04/2007, at 3:34 AM, Cindi wrote: > Hi Anna and welcome to our group.
