Curves 3x a week, and on alternate days a Turbo Jam workout. Those

are my favorites!

Right now my working out consists of going on walks and riding my bike.

It is indeed! But not just for those who 'hate' to work out, eh? Some

people can't work out (yes yes, I know that everyone should do

whatever they can, however little, but for some that 'little' is

dictated by physical/medical restrictions and they just CAN'T) -

and for them still to be able to lose weight is a great triumph for

them. And it is incredibly difficult.

do???? Do you go to a gym (and do what when you're there?),

play tennis, run or jog, lift weights, swim, walk??????? What works

best for you?

I love Curves but had to quit (no daycare)

Right now since it is beautiful where I live I love walking on the bike path

or finding a new trail to explore. During the long winter months I tend to do

the dreaded treadmill or a walk off the weight video.

I exercise every day but only for a short time. Walk Aerobics DVD's by Leslie

Sansone are very non threatening and on different levels..They are 30 minutes

for the most part..Other days I do water aerobics, or just walk. The most im

portant thing is to do things you like. Once a week I do Pilates once a week

Belly Dancing and once a week Sculpting. But I started gradually with my walk

aerobic dvd'sMenashe & Alizah Hochstead Acts of Kindness will bring Moshiach

Pat,

What " little " you do 4-5 five miles of walking is tremendous. I feel like a

bum now. I barely get in 30 minutes a day. As for the Leslie videos I think the

3 mile would be good for you or if your health allows even the walk and jog one

that is 30 minutes.

LOL not at all! First of all remember I said (I think I said) that I go pretty

slowly - and I have

the time to do it - not something everyone has. 20 or 30 minutes of exercise a

day is

supposed to be plenty to keep one healthy ;) The more you do, of course, the

more

calories you burn off, but that's another matter!

>As for the Leslie videos I think the 3 mile would be good for you or if your

even the walk and jog one that is 30 minutes.

Shall look for her 3-mile - although the one I am doing now is pretty good. The

thing is,

it's different doing all those moves along with walking in place - more energy

required

than just strolling around the river and parks - and more muscles are brought

into play.

Some of them I haven't used in years, some others I didn't know I had.

The walk and jog? No jogging for me - joints won't permit it - but walking is

fine! Thanks

so much for the kind words and the tips!

Thing is, I'm so impressed by all of you. I console myself with the thought that

you're all

probably telling me about the gym and all that but are really only 20 years old

(wishing,

wishing!) and therefore . . . .

Thanks a bunch - yet again. Love, Pat
