Guest guest
Hi Tiffany and welcome! Yes, there are many hidden animal-derived products in lots of processed food which people aren't aware of until they start looking! :-) 6 children, wow! Busy household, and you cook multiple meals? That must be a chore for you...maybe you can start making some new dishes that everyone will enjoy so you can take more time for yourself and your dietary needs. :-) We have a lot of info and recipes in our files, so take a peek when you can. Good to have you here and post when you can! Vegans don't eat either eggs or dairy (or honey for that matter - I guess honey is parve too?), ever, whatever others choose to do. Gotta watch for that Vegan symbol! Guest guest
The problem here in Israel is finding a vegan cheese..IN America I know Tofutti makes one..but here all the cheese..even the non milk based cheese is dairy (OU D) so vegans and people who keep CHolov Yisroel (which I do) can't use it. I do eat eggs and dairy but only in limited quantities. I have a friend who is gluten intolerent. allergic to milk, very few options for her...she also is sensitive to beans etc..and with Pesach coming is realling going to have problems. Looking for some good Passover recipes that do not include beans, rice, wheat, other legumes. Thanks in advance.Menashe & Alizah Hochstead Acts of Kindness will bring Moshiach 02-9309715 050-54-770-04 : drpatsant: Sat, 29 Mar 2008 13:58:49 -0700RE: Re: A little about me! ~ Tiffany Hi Alizah,You say:> Parve that has geletin in it will list if it is> veg or fish gelatin.
