Guest guest
Happy Housewarming Cindi! Welcome to your new home. I'll be bringing dessert to the party, vegan brownies I think would be good. I'll also bring along some shelf paper to line your kitchen shelves and drawers. What are the colors in your kitchen? We have to have a pattern, ya know , or do you prefer plain paper? Would you like me to line the shelves in your linen closet too? Can't wait to see everyone at the party Best, Karen On 9/3/08, drpatsant <drpatsant wrote: > > Okay, EVERYONE, Cindi (Co-owner of this group as you all know) has I > hear from a dickie-bird, just finished moving into a new home. Guest guest
You can find me hauling books to the study then shelving them, a good beer in hand (more in the cooler for anyone else). LOL. Congratulations, -Erin http://www.zenpawn.com/vegblog
Guest guest
Hi Cindi I'll bring some veggie chili - nice and spicy and low in fat. I'm really good at washing dishes so I'll volunteer for clean up and also to wash things that need to be touched up before they go in the cupboards. I'll bring a nice little quilted wall hanging for the kitchen with veggies on it. I just did one for my daughter with carrots growing in a garden. This sounds like so much fun!!! Enjoy the new house Audrey
Guest guest
I will bring my butter bean dip, guacamole and salsa and some potato skins!, here's a couple of bottles of Vegetarian Red Wine - do you want a wine punch? Um I can unpack books and DVDs if that will help - oh and here are some home made truffles for you to nibble on whilst un-packing! Guest guest
I'll help unpack and I'll bring my new favorite beverage - cucumber water. It's peeled, cucumber slices in a pitcher of water. You can also add lemon, orange and mint if you'd like more flavors. I've been keeping a pitcher in the fridge. Very refreshing. Good luck on your move Cindi! " drpatsant " <drpatsant vegetarianslimming Wednesday, September 3, 2008 11:40:09 AM Virtual On-Line Housewarming Party! Guest guest
I love spicy veggie chili ~ always makes for great leftovers too; not that we'd have any with this busy crowd! :-) Your quilts sound lovely Audrey. Guest guest
Oh you guys are so much better at this than I am! OK, I'll help with the books (promise) and help to line the linen closet (if that's ok) - and oh my I love the idea of yellow in your kitchen. I read somewhere once that yellow was a welcoming colour and that people who wanted to sell their homes (ok, Cindi, you're not going there right now!!!) should include something yellow in every room because it made everyone feel happy. It isn't my colour to wear - ever - but I love to have a little of it around About the lovely food. Can I please bring an eggplant and zucchini lasagna? (or is someone else doing that?) If not, some nice potato salad (with the minimum of oil) with lots and lots of celery in it? I'm not good on desserts, though I'm thinking of bringing, as a housewarming gift (don't read this part, Cindi!) a set of handwoven table napkins (organic cotton of course, if I can find it). Oooooh, I am SO looking forward to all your lovely food! You people are seriously creative! Love and hugs, Pat
