I don't know enough to argue this point either way, although I

believe that addiciton has something to do with receptors in the

brain, which presumably don't go away just because the nicotine has

left your body.

Whether physical or mental, the addiction and the cravings are real.

To illustrate, do you overeat because you are *physically* addicted

to too much food? No. Ergo it must be easy to stop, because it's

all in the mind. There's no real difference, Lesley.

you don't need the nicotine to be in yer body to have a craving silly

you crave the chemical reaction, and the way it makes you feel....

and yer body gets use to it...

if you needed nicotine in yer body constantly to be addicted, you'd have to

smoke every 60 minutes...would make sleeping hard i would gather...

Smoke never made me feel anything but ill, I am obviously made differently.

And don't call me silly. I hate it when people call me silly.

I'm sorry about your poor hamster, I used to have hamsters as a kid.

We have a lot of spiders in our flat, no pets though.

We also get a few mosquitoes around and get bitten quite a bit.

I suppose people who smoke don't suffer mozzy bites, with nicotine being an insecticide?

Second hand smoke is bad, inhaling it "str8" is even nastier, I did try it briefly many years ago in an effort to understand why my mum did it becaused she had messed up my health and I was so resentful about it. I was forcing myself to try it to see why she had done it. *Shudder*, it is horrible to remember, because it was really so nasty, just many times nastier than second hand smoke, made me so ill, thumping headache, worse than being punched the other day, as well as constant phlegm for days. I really regretted trying it. Nothing pleasant about it at all. I'm not arguing, just telling it how it was.

dis morn or....

You buried some bees and spiders this morning? Was this some ancient

Egyptian hamster burial so she had servants in the next life?
