Guest guest
Hello again! I stocked up on some of my favorite " cheese " by Galaxy foods called Veggie Shreds. Has anyone had luck freezing this item? The expiration date is March 2005 (Kinda scary), but I am wondering because I have much more room in my freezer than in my fridge to store the extras. On a side note - the cashier commented on the veggie cheese and said " Wow, I didn't even know we started carrying this! " I told her that her store had been carrying it for 3 months now at a really good price! She never noticed it because it is placed in the store in the vegetable section with the tofu. Why isn't the veggie cheese with the other cheese so folks know it is in another option?? Product placement is everything - stores are sabotaging the potential success when they " hide " these items! I gave the cashier an extra coupon that I had and told her to give it a try, because it is good stuff! Amanda _______________ Get ready for school! Guest guest
A food store employee told me that it's because they have contractual agreements with the dairy union. They are only allowed to carry a certain number of soy milk brands, and they can't merchandise them too close to the dairy products. --- Amanda Beckwith <lovethecold wrote: > Why isn't the veggie cheese with the other cheese > so folks know it is in > another option?? Guest guest
That's business. I think that there are a lot worse things in the world, things that truly qualify as sick. Using the word " sick " to describe this rather lessens the impact of truly sick actions and behaviors. --- Coco <squinkabink wrote: > That's sick.
