Guest guest
Anyone have any recipes that don't use very much ingredients and are fairly simple to make for a quick lunch, snack, or dinner. I am a new vegetarian and would like any suggestions as to where I could look for new recipes and get more information about veggie life. Any site? books? would be helpful. Thanks friends. Guest guest
Hi, I love acovados and eat them often. I like to make some brown rice with garlic and vegetable broth. I mix some cooked brown rice with half a mashed avocado and add a little flax seed oil, mix it up with salt or soy sauce, and eat it. Some people might say I'm crazy, but this is one of my favorite meals! Guest guest
My avocado usage: Guacamole: eveything in this " recipe " is to taste: blend avocado, onion, celery, jalapeno, & cilentro until smooth I use this as a spread on tortillas then add other veggies for a wrap. Guest guest
i use avocados alot. i like to add diced avocado to soups (tomato, tortilla, southwestern types) right before i eat them. i also like sliced avocado in sandwiches and wraps, (hummus with avocado, cucumber, tomato, black olives and lettuce...yummm!) veggie and/or bean burritos, and veggie fajitas! i make guacamole often too. i just add a bit of prepared salsa and fresh lime juice (and sometimes extra cilantro) to smashed avocados. i use it as a dip with tortilla chips or to top (black bean and cheese) nachos. i've also used avocado as a spread....just spread ripe avocado on toast like butter. oh, i almost forgot....chunked avocado with fresh lime juice squeezed on top is a favorite snack. i douse it in tabasco too. very good and very simple! i just love avocados, susie
