I battle a cigarette addiction constantly. I quit for 3, smoke for 3, just

about. I like an occasional night of beer, especially in football season. I

would say I drink a few beers maybe twice per month.I smoke marijuana a couple

of times per week. I feel ill effects of smoking, but not the beer and

marijuana.

Well, I am looking pretty trashy about now, LOL.

Just being honest. I am however a good mom and wife :o)

oh and a good computer technician too!

Blessings,

Maria/Chanda

Cigarettes, pot and other " interesting " drugs

Hi all,

In answer to Jiraph's question, I must confess that I have never smoked even

one cigarette, nor taken pot, LSD and other such mind-broadening drugs. And I

also do not like alcohol, not even wine. Just do not like it. Sometimes, for the

sake of politeness, I try to take a sip of wine.

When we were young, my sister who smokes cigarettes, used marihuana, likes a

glass of wine, and eats her nails, thought I was a very boring person.... :)

Apparently I have a very boring husband, as he is just like me. Although he is

able to finish a small glass of wine.

Our daughter is a barman (barwoman?) in a pub and I truly do not like it that

there is always cigarette smoke around.

Wishing you all a great and healthy weekend, Dorith

Recreational drugs!???

Even if I were interested, I'm too busy taking daily

Daypro (osteoarthritis), ginger (migraines), B-6

(carpal tunnel), magnesium (migraines), a

multi-vitamin and an occasional sleep-aid, and keeping

track of all of them, to drink or take anything else!

Oh... and I carry an inhaler. About a year after I

quit smoking, I was diagnosed with asthma.

You might try macrobiotics. (Look for books by George Ohsawa and his

wife Lima.) Very good for allergies when combined with info from the

blood type books. It is basically Buddhist temple cooking from

Japan. " Macrobiotic Cuisine " by Lima Ohsawa is my favorite. I found

several at the local Bookman's.
