hello- from newbie

OMG!!! thank you!! I am new by the way and I am so glad I found this group!!

Hello to all.

I feel the same way. I am battling cigarettes yes, that I have to do without,

but being a vegetarian is opening up doors for me, and I don't feel deprived in

any way, I feel like there is so much more!!

Maybe it's just me, but I dislike the approach that vegetarianism

is 'doing without' or 'substituting'. One is very prone to feeling

deprived or self-righteous. That doesn't make a pleasant meal-time.

hi,

 

i would like to introduce myself to the board. my name is marie, i

recently found out that i have high blood /or prehypertension plus

already had high cholesterol. i'm in my late 30's, single, no kids

but dating a man who is 41 and is having health conditions( high

blood, asthma, black-outs, gets over-eated) yet he still eats alot of

junk food but no pork.

 

i had a good thanksgiving but will wait til after the holidays to go

full veggie after new years. i hope learn and gain alot of positive

ideas and tips from this group .

 

 

i mostly read mail from the internet and will post when i can since

i'm so busy during the week.

 

have a good and safe weekend.

Hi Marie, your first step was joining the group. We will all help you, start

your vegatarian diet today no need to put it off and you will still enjoy the
