Guest guest
I've tried Tofutti's Better than Cream Cheese - herbs and chives version definitely and possibly also french onion. I liked it and thought it was just fine. Gary > Has anyone tried it? Guest guest
Hm, now I'm unsure if you were asking about Tofutti Cream Chesse or Smart Balance. I've tried Smart Balance and Earth Balance also and like them just fine too. I haven't tried light versions of either but I don't know that I have seen the light versions, for that matter. I guess Earth Balance is vegan and Smart Balance may have whey (not 100% sure about that). Also just looked here: http://www.cspinet.org/nah/12_01/chart.html and, unfortunately, calories and fat content seem a bit higher than the other spreads. Gary > Has anyone tried it? Guest guest
Sorry for the confusion - I was asking about the cream cheese:) I haven't had it yet - but as I LOVE Tofutti Ice Cream, I was hoping that someone else has tried the cream cheese, and what they thought of it... On the other note, I use Smart Balance Light all the time in place of butter. Guest guest
> Sorry for the confusion - I was asking about the cream cheese:) I don't know the brand, I was in a Kosher - meat deli, and had vegan cream cheese - it was good, I couldn't tell it wasn't dairy. It's in my fridge right now. Yummy. I have been told by lacto friends that it tastes just like the cow kind. Veronica
