Guest guest
Mix it with some vegan ranch dressing mix (the store brand at Kroger is vegan, but double check at your store--for some reason ranch dressing powder manufacturers change the recipe a lot) and it's fabulous for dipping veggies in! Guest guest
I never thought of that! I have missed that sour cream and chive dips for chips for a long time! GREAT IDEA! Anyone know of a way to make that vegetable flavored cream cheese? The stopped carrying it in the stores here. ~Mel --- Diamond Dog <diamonddog wrote: > Mix it with some vegan ranch dressing mix (the store > brand at Kroger is > vegan, but double check at your store--for some > reason ranch dressing > powder manufacturers change the recipe a lot) and > it's fabulous for dipping > veggies in! > > Veronica > > At 07:09 PM 12/27/2004 +0000, you wrote: > > >Over the weekend I bought Tofutti sour cream, and > it is just as good as > >Breakstone. Guest guest
Mel, add some of the Knorr's vegetable dry soup mix and stir it up. Let in sit in the fride for a few hours as it will really bring out the taste. Made this for Christmas with the Tofutti and I added some chopped up green onion too. I also made spinach dip with it. Just cook up some chopped spinach and squeeze the water from it, add some chopped onion and waterchestnuts. It's delicious. Donna Melissa Hill <assilembob wrote:I never thought of that! Guest guest
Mel - I've made veggie cream cheese by adding an instant vegetable soup mix...like knorr...you stir it in, but need to let it sit for quite a while so the veggies hydrate. I also used to make yogurt cheese (let plain yogurt sit in a cheese cloth and drain) and add the soup mix to that, it works well, too. My kids like chopped berries stirred into cream cheese in the summer! m
Guest guest
I haven't ever heard of Knorr veg. soup mix...gonna have to look for it. I like to have veggie tofutti with sun chips, but all I can find is plain and onion...and I am not a fan of onion flavor (or even onions in general!) I am on a quest now! --- GeminiDragon <thelilacflower wrote: > > Mel, add some of the Knorr's vegetable dry soup mix > and stir it up.
