I was at Whole Foods last night and picked up a new veggie burger they are

carrying. It by Amy's and I bought the California burger it's vegan and

contains no soy and all ingredients are organic and quite delicious. The

Chicago burger does contain some cheese. Here's the web address: www.Amy's.com

there's a while line of other frozen dishes and veggie burgers. Has anyone else

tried these? Donna

Amy's has lots of good products...I like her canned veggie chicken

noodle soup. I have a not yet two year old who adores her pizza

nuggets - which make a great quick lunch with a veggie or fruit! I

usually keep some of her pot pies on hand for a quick meal if

needed. Haven't tried the burgers yet though!

I haven't seen her products before and they appeared in the Whole Foods frozen

section. I will look for the soup. I was very impressed with the burger. I

let it defrost for about 1/2 hr and cooked it on the stove.

Oh yes:) I love Amy's brand - notice too that her vegan options say

(VEGAN) at the beginning of the ingredients list to make for quicker,

easier selections:) The Texas Burger is also vegan - and has a

wonderful bbq flavor:) I also love her roasted veggie (cheeseless)

pizza. The black bean breakfst buritto is good for an on-the-run

kind of thing, too!

HAHA - I just had that for lunch today with some

cracked pepper crackers. I just adore her vegan soups

(most of the soups are!!)

Before going vegan I loved her tofu lasagne, but it's

got the evil Casinite in it. GRR SNARL SNORT

Only complaint is too much onions...I don't much like

those! My sister will throw up if she eats them so

that cuts down her options.
