Guest guest
Hi Maria/Chanda My computer is in for minor repairs right now. I have to try and use my sisters old HP that freezes up so I might not get back in here for a few days. I'll explain what I make with the rice stick noodles soon and send in a tasty easy recipe. You can find them in the Asian store if there is one near you. I will look forward to your Thai sauce recipe. Sure, I'll bet you can substitute the fish ingredient. Enjoy your day..it's hailing right now in California....Peace, Donna Maria/Chanda <puterwitch wrote: Just found out that my beloved Thai sauce contains fish, so I will have to substitute. I will do this this week, probably Thursday and post the recipe. No, what are the noodles? (:- ))) Donna Maria/Chanda <puterwitch wrote:great idea! If you want a meal that is not so quick and easy but yummy we can marinate them in a Thai sauce and stir fry em' and serve them with peanut sauce. I am happy. Hey if anyone wants the recipe for the Thai sauce let me know. ) Blessings, Maria.Chanda - GeminiDragon Wednesday, January 05, 2005 7:38 PM Re: buffalo wings LightLife chicken strips I use the chicken strips. I usually saute an onion and toss those in the pan to heat up. I make soft tacos with them. Just add some rice and a veggie on the side. Makes a great quick meal. Donna Maria/Chanda <puterwitch wrote: Since I am new I don't know if all of you now about lightlife smart menu chicken strips. All non meat soy of course. I haven't tried them like they recommend, like in s tir fry etc. but I made those buffalo wings I was talking about not too long ago and lemmy tell ya they totally rock!! I am gonna make these for my teenage boy and my 21 year old " boy " and tell them it is real chicken and see if they notice. No way will they notice. here's how you make it: Get a pack of smart menu seasoned chicken strips, if you don't know where to get it here is a link to see if they have a store in your area http://www.lightlife.com/chickstrips.html OK, then you get either the shake and bake buffalo wings or the McCormick (or comparable brand) bag and season buffalo wings. either coat your strips with the mixture or if it's bag and season, follow the directions the same way, and cook (either way) for like 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with and dip in bluecheese dressing if you do that sort of thing, LOL, I know I do. OMG!!! out of this world!! I could scream it from the rooftops! I am so happy that an all time favorite is still available (I used to do this with real chicken cut up in pieces) I am so happy with lightlife for it's products are wonderful. The sausage patties really rock too. I want to work for them, LOL. Blessings, Chanda/Maria
