Guest guest
It's a deal and I'll give the canned potatoes a try just like you make them for your kids. I first have to see if they have them in the market down the canned veggie isle. Oh, the thin French cut green beans in a can are also good in the center of mashed potatoes. I saw a recipe in a health magazine for mashed potaoes and leeks. You just boil some chopped leeks in with the potatoes. Drain and mash with some vegetable broth and a little a little salt. Looked wonderful. Chanda/Maria <puterwitch wrote: LOL mashed rocks, didn't mean ti that way, LOL. I am gonna try the peas in the mashed. I always use corn. Maybe I'll do peas and corn. Yum. Guest guest
The marshmallows shocked me. I used to eat tons of the cream in a jar and roasted marshmallows. It's funny how you eat these things as a kid and never even think to question what's in them. My nephew used to live on meat so I'm happy to see he cut that out but he loves his Jiffy cornbread that he alters with things. Guest guest
ok deal, make sure you slice the potatoes if you don't get the pre sliced ones. I love the French cut green beans. My son loves it when I use the bread crumbs and garlic on them, but hubby doesn't. I fry them in olive oil and garlic, and add a little bit of bread crumbs yum. I don't like almonds in mine, butif you do you could add those too, or those French fried onions. I hope they aren't fried in lard, I will have to check, haven't used them in a while. I want to start using more squashes. Guest guest
Or real juice when there's 90% sugar and 10% juice in many things. How about the fruit flavored chewy and candies and the package says it's a fat free food with real juice (it's all sugar and dye).
