Guest guest
Hi Donna and all, Good for her ! I wish her the best ! I had got some of those Emer'gen C packages the day before someone posted about them, and I really like the stuff ! It's handy and tastes better than my nasty vitamins. I went back and bought a big box of the packets. At the same heath food store, I found some of that seitan. It was in BBQ sauce. I have to agree with the people who said they didn't like it ! I found the texture rubbery and didn't like the taste either. Which is good, I guess, since it was pretty expensive for a small package ! She has a big ranch style home 45 minutes out of Los Angeles and takes in all stray pets she has found. She has a hawk, giant turtle and a bunch of dogs, cats, and even a goat and pig..............Donna. > >ved]
Guest guest
Seitan is worth making by hand and not trying to get it to taste like beef. Most delis do a terrible job with it. I add bits to Japanese soups. It can be light and very nice tasting. Some of Linda McCartney's frozen dinners use it. It should not be rubbery. , " Tina LeBouthillier " <tinal999@h...> wrote: > > Hi Donna and all, > > Good for her !
