No, I wouldn't. Keep those on the beta food. More of a delicate fish.

My grandparents had a pet shop and that's what my Grandpa used to tell

customers.

Now an Oscar is different, they love peas.

How about Beta's? Can you feed them peas too?

Swim Bladder Disease can be caused by a deformed bladder, parasite infestation,

bacterial infections or constipation.

It causes a loss of balance and equalibrium.

usually swim bladder is caused by feeding a fish food that is too dry. I pour

the flake food in a cup of water and let it sit about 15 seconds before I pour

it into the tank to prevent swim bladder

Good to know, although my Beta - Peek-a-Boo does not have that problem at

all. He's quite balanced and I've had him for over a month now and he's

gotten over the initial shock and is becoming quite charming. He swims

to the top when I walk in the kitchen cause he thinks he's gonna get fed!

I'll keep a look out in the future for any bladder disorders, thanks.

Feeding the wrong food can be the problem, too. Esp. feeding koi food to

Goldfish. Many recommend feeding frozen peas to cure it. Don't know if a

betta would eat them though.
