Guest guest
Hi, I am thinking of trying a 3-day cleanse that I found in a magazine, and the food part of the cleanse is 8oz of lean protein per day, in addition to some fruits and veggies. However, I don't know what to eat as a vegetarian. Low-fat tofu? Is there anything else? Thanks for any suggestions! Guest guest
Read yogurt ingredient lables carefully! Geletin means either ground hoof, or in the case of kosher geletin, ground fish bone. Having some yogurt, though, would be a good idea AFTER a fast. It replaces lost good bacteria. ===== I am thinking of trying a 3-day cleanse that I found in a magazine, and the food part of the cleanse is 8oz of lean protein per day, in addition to some fruits and veggies. Guest guest
in my opinion a fast is good for no one. I don't care what any scientific anything has to say, I feel it can do no good and can clean nothing. Blessings, Chanda - Jiraph Wirpel Friday, March 25, 2005 10:57 AM Re: lean veg protein? Guest guest
Chanda, You may very well be right...I am just curious to see. It isn't a fast, really, not in the literal sense of the word. There are a couple of things taken/drank each day (cranberry/superfood elixer, milk thistle, whey, uhhh...a few other things that I can't recall off hand), plus an unlimited amount of raw veggies, 8oz of protein, 4 servings of fruits (including 2 apples for fiber), and of course, unlimited water. Honestly, that is probably much better than I eat during a busy week, although it is much, much less. If I do decide to try it, I will let you know how it worked for me. Thanks, Janene , " Chanda/Maria " <puterwitch@c...> wrote: > in my opinion a fast is good for no one.
