vegan Hi Shawn

Shawn this is a pasta in a small box I found it at Albertson's Grocery Store.

It's made by

De Cecco Company and imported from Italy. Basically it's cooked the same as

rice. 2 cups of liquid to one cup pasta beads. Now I will really get to

changing this recipe around. Yes, let's try some kombu. Wait I have another

item for you. I was at the Asian market yesterday and got a pound bag of the

black sesame seeds for $2.99. I have a cookie recipe that calls for them. They

have a better flavor then the beige sesame seeds. Can't wait to try them. I

have a good wheat bread I buy that has them on the outside and I love the

flavor. Happy I was able to find the black seeds. I'm give you more info as I

experiment with them..................You have a wonderful Thursday.....Donna

Excellent, thanks so much, Donna! This looks like the other one in

that it's a one dish cook (love that) and it gets done quickly. I've

never tried that type of pasta either - can't wait. :)

Shawn (will soon need recipe with couscous, acini di pepe pasta and

kombu - lol)

Made it for dinner and it was wonderful. Very easy, tasty and my

nephew and his pals asked for seconds. Wish I would have tried this

over the past holidays.
