Yeah, it does look like a glue bottle! Never thought of that. A

bottle of that stuff lasts me forever, as just a few drops will do.

But it has such a nice flavor to it, and not just heat.

Another favorite hot sauce of mine is Cholula. It's a Mexican hot

sauce with a woman on the front. Again, good flavor and heat. I like

it better than Tapatio.

Glad to see you on board, Amy!

It would last me forever, but DH can eat it by the tablespoon...

but he likes the Chipotle Tabasco even more.

Thanks, Denise! It looks like y'all have a great board here! Are

most folks vegan, vs. vegetarian?

I tried that once (pureed correct?) - it was good but too sweet for me

and not enough heat. Close to that product on the shelf, you'll

normally see a " Chile Garlic Sauce " bottle (Vietnamese). " Tuong ??? "

- the bottle is a normal looking (see-through) plastic bottle with a

green cap.

This stuff rocks. Great flavor and decent heat (with this sauce you

can see the seeds). When my bottle gets low, I get extremely

nervous....MUST REEEEPLENISH!

Great stuff. I've tried a few other brands and several of the cans

chipotles w/adobo sauce, however nothing has compared thus far for

me.

Welcome to the group!

i agree. the siracha just isn't hot enough. i like

the sambal oelek (i think that's the one you are

talking about, shawn)...it's hotter and has better

flavor, imo.

Yah exactly - I just like the tangy without the sweet and of course

more heat (though the srichi** aint bad). Plus of course it's got

garlic in it. I don't mind just grabbing a spoonful of that and

laying it on a saltine. Good stuff.

They should sell the stuff in keg containers. Tap it and open up!

Will have to get that for DH next time we're running low on hot sauce...

Yeah, I get the canned chipotle in adobo, and dried chipotles, but DH

has gone through several of the big chipotle tabasco bottles... but we

can't get another for a while as we'll be moving and the Navy won't

move that stuff if it's opened! So now he has to use up the " lesser "

flavors of hot sauces...
