Hi Amy,

Seems there's both in the group and some meat eaters belong also that like tips,

conversation and recipes too.

I'm not complete vegan and eat bread if it contains and egg. Have a milk

allergy so I put a little parmesan on top of spaghetti. That type thing. How

about you?...............Donna

It looks like y'all have a great board here! Are

most folks vegan, vs. vegetarian?

Hi, Donna! I've been a vegetarian over a dozen years... my sweet DH is

omnivore, but has about given up red meat. Since I do 95% of the

cooking, he eats 95% vegetarian (and watched his blood pressure fall

to low normal instead of high normal). I have flirted with veganism,

and actually do eat mostly vegan, but some cheeses I just have a hard

time giving up. Since they're " fancy " , (ie brie, manchego etc.) I eat

them only rarely, so I guess I'm letting it be for now, in spite my

internal conflict. I do also occasionally eat eggs, but I buy the

organic ones when I do, and I don't worry if they're in something. I

often use flax or NRG at home, but out it's hard enough to satisy a

vegetarian meal, much less a vegan one.

*hugs*

Hi Amy,

The recipe files fit everyones tastes so you will have fun in the group and

looking thru the files since they are both vegan and vegetarian. I post both

because I make both types of dishes depending if it's for myself, potluck,

family, friends etc.

Hugs back to you, Donna

*grin* Every little bit helps, huh? My mom was convinced it was a

fad... but then I surprised everyone by never looking back.
