Okay Jiraph,

Now are those the guys that are like a very big rodent with the power

of a kangaroo?? Where did you get them for pets?? Do you take them

for walks on a leash?? You must have quite the house!

Degus look like big gerbils.

They are indiginous to Chile, and are actually related

to the chinchilla.

I try not to be. Really!! But see then he got a hamster and it used

to get out of its cage and come into my room and terrorize me...come

to think of it, I don't know how it always got out...hmm...perhaps

some encouragement was given? I love animals - all of them - just am

not a big fan of smaller rodents in the house. The Degus are big

enough though that I'd be alright, I suppose. They are cute! And so

is your rat...

If I disliked every species who's bitten me...I'd be running out of species

to like! :)

Aww! I love it when they make the " ferocious bear " face. It's like, " oh,

yeah, I'm soooooooo scared. You're sooooo ferocious " . I figure it's good to

pretend I'm scared to boost their egos. ;)

The babies (I think I told you guys Muffy came to the rescue " pre-loaded " )

are soooo funny because they are still not sure about people, but aren't

exactly scary either. KittyKat rolled over in the attack pose when I woke

her up, but still proceeded to eat the treat I was holding and let me

tickle her ears and sides while still in the pose. I'm not sure she quite

gets the concept of being " scary " . ;)
