Guest guest
I know skintamate is owned by johnson and johnson, which I know now is not cruelty free. (kiss my face stuff is on the way!). However, I am using it while waiting and had read through their labels before for hidden animal products and found none. BUT while checking again on another scent (lavender, I think) It has lanolin alcohol in it! To check, I looked at another one (glistening pear) and there's none! URG. Stupid evil j & j people! (I wrote them a letter in anguish) they switch the ingredients by scent?? also my bath and body works lotion, which I was proud of for buying since it is not animal tested, has lanolin too! and my " cruelty-free " yardley stuff. Just as a warning for those of us (namely me) who get all excited when we find a supposedly " cruelty free " product that's cheapish and we like and then there's dead stuff in it! I don't like slathering sheep inards on my dry cracked hands! I'm done. woosh. Elisa
Guest guest
I read that lanolin is a by product of processing sheep's wool. For vegans, that would still be a no-no, but vegetarians might not mind. --- elisa <lavendercowz wrote: > > > I know skintamate is owned by johnson and johnson, > which I know now is not cruelty free. Guest guest
Now I feel stupid. Thanks though, now I know I actually don't have to avoid that. It also makes my letter irrelevant.... *sigh* that's all right. I'm glad I said something though... I might have gone along thinking it was made from fat all along.
