Guest guest
Just as satisfying as a bowl of ice cream and yet vegan. This is addicting! " Island Bananas " 4 firm bananas, peel and cut in half and then cut in half lengthwise 1 tablspn. canola margarine or (butter if desired) 4 tablspn. dark brown sugar 2 limes *** optional cinnamon, toasted coconut or a few chunks of pineapple Melt margarine in skillet. Add bananas (and a few chunks of pineapple if desired) and fry over medium heat until golden brown, takes about 5 mins. Sprinkle sugar over top and stir occasionally until sugar dissolves and becomes a syrup, takes about 4 mins. Arrange bananas on plate and squeeze limes over top. Garnish with a dash of cinnamon and toasted coconut if you like. " The afternoon knows what the morning never suspected. " Old Swedish proverb. Guest guest
well then I say, put some run in dat sugar!!! here is an off topic joke that this made me think of: The 98 year old Mother Superior from Ireland was dying. The nuns gathered around her bed trying to make her last journey comfortable. They gave her some warm milk to drink but she refused. Then one of the nuns took the glass back to the kitchen. Remembering a bottle of Irish whiskey received as a gift the previous Christmas, she opened and poured a generous amount into the warm milk. Back at Mother Superior's bed, she held the glass to her lips. Mother drank a little, then a little more and before they knew it, she had drunk the whole glass down to the last drop. " Mother, " the nuns asked with earnest, " please give us some wisdom before you die. " She raised herself up in bed and with a pious look on her face said, " Don't sell that cow.
