Not sure anyone has noticed but " Altoids " contain gelatin. I was at the

checkstand yesterday and I saw they were on sale for 99 cents. I don't care for

mint so I never buy them but I saw licorice flavor which I love and was reading

the ingredients to see if those had mint and noticed all flavors contain

gelatin.

Isn't it a bummer??!! I like altoids...

 

You really have to check on candies...starburst & skittles have

gelatin, just to mention a few...mentos too I think...oh and the

converstion hearts at valentines day, and most brands of candy

corn...much to my dismay!

The brand of strong mints they sell at Barnes and Noble says they're vegan

right on them. Can't remember the brand name...

Not in England and Australia. I used to order them, but now I need to find

someone else to send them to me!

Sweet Tarts ones are vegan! :)

Yeah, what a shame. i noticed that a while

back. My son loves to read candy labels now

and point out which ones are vegan or

veg-friendly.

On an up note, the Altoid brand chewing gum

doesn't have geletin last i checked. *s*
