Guest guest
It is wonderful and encouraging to read how much fun you are having discovering new flavors and textures as you head up the vegetarian path. Meat slip-ups will definately be a shock to your system. Your body just won't want to digest it well and in some cases people that go back to eating a piece of meat get quite sick feeling. If you are in a pinch and need or want to stop for some fast food, why not try Taco Bell. They have a nice bean burrito that is only 69¢ or so. Filling, but not overly so.... just refried beans, small bit of cheese, chopped onions, and taco sauce. Quite handy for that fast food craving. *s* ~ pt ~ I searched through rebellion, drugs, diet, mysticism, religion, intellectualism and much more, only to find that truth is basically simple and feels good, clear and right. ~ Chick Corea ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , Jen Lott <celestial726> wrote: > Yesterday when I was really hungry and got a burger > from McD's and ended up feeling really weighed down > and crappy the rest of the day....I think it is > because I haven't had any meat for about 2 months now > and that was a shock to my system. > > So, no more going to McD's in a desperate fit of > hunger. > > Jen

Guest guest
Does anyone get sick from eating eggs? I'm not vegan so I do eat them but for at least the last 4 times I've eated an egg based dish I felt terrible! I kept telling myself it didn't have to do with the eggs, but that's a bit stretching it for a concidence. I eat mostly the Nature Valley organic eggs (which I'm not even sure are much better for the chickens) but regular sometimes. Just wondering if anyone else is the same way... Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Elisa, My Mom gets sick from eggs. We thought maybe it was the egg whites but just the yolk is just as bad for her. She gets severe stomach cramps and gas pains...Donna elisa <lavendercowz wrote:Does anyone get sick from eating eggs? I don't, Elisa, but I know eggs are among the most common allergens, so perhaps you are allergic, or sensitive?
