Although they don't contain lard, the Taco Bell 7-layer tortillas and

beans contain hydrogenated oils. Not a health food by any means.

But occasionally they're ok. The salads at Subway are excellent and

a much better fast food choice!

They're totally vegan if you order without cheese. :)

Last i heard they weren't.

Here is a number where you can call to

ask specific questions:

If you have any questions about TACO BELL¨

and nutrition or are particularly sensitive to

specific ingredients or foods, please contact

us at 1-800-TACO BELL.

i have called them before and they are pretty helpful.

i don't like to eat their food very much, but in a pinch

and on the road with the family it is something we all

can find something we can tolerate on the menu. *s*

Yeah. It's so hard to find healthy vegetarian fast food... I mean, if

you eat meat, you can find low fat, grilled protein without transfats

etc... if you don't, you get either cheese, transfats, or white lettuce!

*sigh* Someday.
