Guest guest
Plain baked potato at Carl's Jr. if you have one in the area. That's usually what I settle for or the Subway's Veggie Delite on a wheat bun without the mayo and a sprinkle of vinegar and oil. I mean, if you eat meat, you can find low fat, grilled protein without transfats etc... if you don't, you get either cheese, transfats, or white lettuce! *sigh* Someday. Never heard of Carl's.... but even so, that doesn't give you any protein. :-7 Haven't these folks heard of beans, or quinoa, or tempeh?? :-) I don't eat fast food often, but I usually do end up at Subway... some of them don't have the veggie max, so I put cheese on the sandwich... without any significant protein, it just doesn't last me long enough. I was never much on mayo, but I do love mustard and vinegar. Then when I'm tired or Subway, I get the 7-layer at Taco Bell. May have to ask for it without sour cream though, if it's not veg... Guest guest
Carl's Jr. is just like a Mc D's but they do have a baked potato. That's about all you can get there. Guest guest
I haven't had fast food in years--main strategies are keeping nuts in the car to snack on, and bringing a cooler with sandwiches on daytrips. Guest guest
I'm vegan and I love pizza! I either order without cheese (most crusts are vegan except for lousy Dominos whose pizza sucks and they're way anti-choice anyway (financially supporting anti-choice orgs heavily. Something I feel very strongly about.) or order with vegan " cheese " (there's a great pizza place here that makes incredible pizzas using veganrella. They grind it up finely so it melts perfectly.) mmmm!
