Guest guest
Hi PT, This is a shorty since I'm at work. The Veganaise is like Best Foods only better. Trust me. Everyone here at work is hooked on it and there are only 3 of we vegetarians here. You just have to give it a try. I don't care for the other brands sold on the shelves with salad dressing, those are blah and greasy to me. I don't reuse any plastic bottles if anyone has sipped from the bottles. If I know we are going somewhere I will bring a few unopened ones in from the garage and pour the water in glasses to use at lunch or dinner and then fill with herbal tea for the next days trip. Tossing them afterword's. I've also heard that isn't good to drink from them and refill. Can't get them clean and plastic is porous. Happy Monday ! I jar of vegan mayo (I love the flavor of Veganaise better than regular mayo) good loaf of bread. " ~ Really? You like Vegannaise better than real mayo? i ask because i never dared to try it, just figuring i would be wasting my money on something that too much of an acquired taste. i will definately try some this year though. i would love to get away from using regular mayo; light mayo is yucky, IMO. Is Vegannaise more like Best Foods or more like the tang of Miracle Whip? Donna wrote: " I fill water bottles with fruit herbal tea. I have trays that make ice cubes that drop into bottled water so it stays cold for a long time. Have you seen those ice cube trays? " ~ i have those mini-cude trays, too. They work great in my blender drinks as well. i think i picked up those trays at a dollar store a while back. i keep a look out for more as they are handy. My bitch, Lizzy, got a bit portly this winter, so instead of a doggy biscuit for a treat, she gets a mini ice cube; which she thinks is just wonderful. Zero calories! *lol* i have heard or read somewhere that re-using the plastic water bottles is not safe. i don't know if it is true or not. Anyone know? But anyway, i avoid doing that now just in case. i take my beverages in mason jars with tight-fitting lids, then we either just drink straight from those or pass around the cups. ~ pt ~ Opinions that are well rooted should grow and change like a healthy tree. ~ Irving Batcheller

It's just like real mayonaise, and that is why I hate veganaise! I prefer Nayonaise. It doesn't taste as much like real mayo. Much better in my opinion.
