Guest guest
A lavender cake. I make a white cake and add lavender flowers to the batter, makes the house smell soooooooooooooooooo good and the taste is wonderful too. What type cake will you make? Do you think you can modify the Neptune Loaf to make it vegan? Yes, I freeze the lentil loaf in slices and take for a sandwich all the time. Guest guest
hmm.. I make an awesome chocolate cake.. and I love my vanilla... and banana too.. hmmm choices choices choices... maybe vanilla w/ strawberries this year.. though I haven't made a cheese cake in a while.. maybe I'll make that... , I like to drizzle my 'cheese' (or cheeseless) cake with chocolate and pbutter.. YUMMMM!!@! Or.. maybe i'll just bake all week and make them all! LOL and yes.. I would do something like that! we'll be in the new apartment then.. in DC, and it has an actual kitchen (as opposed to my NYC closet!) and since hubby's office is across the street any left over baked goods will go there, exposing his co-workers to tasty vegan foods!... not that there are many leftovers when it comes to dessert around here! lol I do think I'll be able to alter the neptune loaf with soy cheese.. which means waiting until I get to DC (I can't find the good stuff in NYC) after I've made it taht way, I'll try to alter it w/ less cheese.. I make savory sauce from the Spot all the time.. I lvoe that stuff... I use less oil and it tastes just as good... I'll have to see if my recipe is the same as the one you use.. I alter everything.. it's sort of a quark of mine! lol your cake sounds yummy (and I'd love to smell it too!) On Monday, May 16, 2005, at 11:16 PM, GeminiDragon wrote: > A lavender cake. Guest guest
Yes, let me know how the neptune loaf turns out when you try it. It must be wonderful having a larger kitchen now. Mine is compact but it's such a nice arrangement I can find everything and there are tons of cupboards. Your cakes sound wonderful, I'll bet you husbands coworkers love them. I alter recipes all the time, that way you have two or three recipes out of one.........Off to bed. Have a wonderful Tuesday! Donna " Sing with me, sing for the years.
