Guest guest
OK, I personally don't like the taste of the fake meat-except I found some really good un-chicken nuggets. I eat garden burgers and all but not with the expectation of them tasting like a burger-I tend to stay away from those. However, I do give them to my kids-tofu pups, fake sausage etc. I figure it is better then the meat versions and without all the preservatives. But that is not the main food we have. Why do I even give them that? My husband is not a vegetartian and 99% of the foods I make he won't touch (won't eat garlic, artichokes, tom, ww foods, etc which are all main staples to me) so if I am giving him a hotdog, my kid will want one and how can I say no when daddy is eating one (do as I say not as dad does???) so that is why I even get the fake meat for them. Rachel : Question- Fake meat > > I have been supplimenting my diet with those products that are meatless chicken and meatless burgers and such. However, I read in Veggies times two contridictory comments on doing so. One suggested staying away from such products (no real reason given) and another view recommended them highly (for easy and increased protein intake). I am curious as to the general thoughts here in this group. > > Thanks, > JLyn
