Hi Susie, Let me know if you need anymore recipes. I eat quinoa all the time

and even have a " quinoa cookbook " wouldn't you know? LOL

You can eat it cold with a little soy milk and diced fruit. I eat it hot with

soy milk and brown sugar for breakfast now and then.

It's very filling and very good on the digestive track. My Mother had stomach

surgery 5 years ago. Quinoa has been a life saver for her..........Good luck

with your detox..................Donna

thanks for posting this link, donna. i am actually

planning on getting some quinoa at the grocery store

tomorrow. i'm doing a detox diet right now and have

eliminated wheat (and most other gluten containing

grains)from my diet. i remember (i think lol) that

you posted some quinoa recipes not too long ago...i'm

gonna go check those out.

Donna, which quinoa book do you have?? I have one called " Quiona: the

Supergrain " by Wood, but it's not strictly a cookbook... and it's

definitely not veg! :-)

amy posted and use it to stuff roasted poblanos. i'll

probably add some diced zucchini to it to make it more

substancial.

i tried quinoa several years ago and remember it

tasting funky...i'm sure i didn't rinse it enough.

i'll make sure to rinse if very well this time. now,

i'm looking forward to trying it again. :)
