like it hit too high on the fat and calories either. :)

Hail to thee, thou sun of the seasons,

As you make your way across the shining sky.

Your steps are strong on the wings of the heavens.

You are the grandmother of the stars.

You lie down at twilight in the deep green ocean,

without fear, without loss.

You rise up, brilliant, on the peaceful wave

like a regal woman blooming with life.

It was very good. There was very little crunch to it as

the carrots were finely minced and the lettuce was probably

not romaine. But it actually made for a nice, soft, lucious

mouthfeel between the hummus and the marinated artichoke

hearts, with the wrap giving a chewy exterior. The me*t

eaters actually didn't seem to take note of what I was

having, only that it was the only bag marked veg. They

seemed quite happy with their subs of rb or tur. As for

the calories though, you be surprised. I think most food

eaten out has so many hidden ingredients. The marinade was

definitely oily and the 'chokes were satured in it. Also,

my nutrition program shows those tortillas coming in around

200-300 calories with more fat than you might guess. And,

the sodium in one of those wraps is outrageous! So, even

a seemingly healthy meal can be deceiving unless you are

making it yourself with all fresh, homemade ingredients.

I was thinking commercial hummus can sure pack a fat punch too...

You're probably right about that. And sodium!

This is why I make all my own stuff. Even the " healthiest "

meals outside the home (and this was probably one of the better

attempts, as it wasn't a sit-down restaurant; did you see that

recent 20/20 expose!?) are still terrible for calorie, fat, and

salt-watchers. :(

I missed that. Got a link? But yeah, since I've been learning to

lift weights, etc., and really paying attention to what I eat - it's

amazing just how little is available to eat when you are out,

especially vegetarian (which is usually drowning in cheese or oil).

As of today, it is still up on http://abcnews.go.com/2020/

on the right-hand side in the video section as " Eat Healthy

While Eating Out. " There is a brief mention of the black

bean burger at Chile's (a sodium bomb!), but the rest is,

of course, predominantly me*t-based (just a warning). :)

Thanks, Erin, for the link and the warning...
