I have 4

 

1. bread i love making it.

2. salad dressings homemade has better flavor.

3. peanutbutter.

4.canned soups, cause i have never found one that tastes as good as homemade.

Mine are:

 

1. sweet breads (all desserts actually)

2. instant mashed potatoes

3. soups

4. applesauce

5. broth

6. instant rice and pasta mixes in a box

7. green tea ice cream (I make my own green tea soy ice cream)

8. vegetarian sushi rolls

9. packaged salad greens

i agree with 1, 2 and 4, but how do you make #3? i've tried it in my

blender and my food processor but i am less than thrilled with the results.

do you have a special machine that does this?

Hmmmm...4 things I refuse to buy....

cucumbers when they are over 50c a piece..same for red peppers when they are

1.73 EACH! That really smelly cheese..........yuck! okay that's three....ok,

Lipton's tea bags, i love tea but Liptons has to be floor sweepings....i

drink Numi and Tazo....and I have some wonderful Organic Earl Grey too.

I make my peanut butter in the machine at Whole Foods and I make all

my refried beans from scratch. If I use canned ones I don't tell my

Mom, that would be a sin to her.

I also make fresh mashed potatoes.

I don't eat instand oatmeal either, I make it from old fashioned or

steel cut oats. I had never eaten steel cut oats until I learned

about them in this group. I have to make those a few times a week.

They are something I crave now.
