Guest guest
Once a week my dh stays in town overnight to catch up on work, his comute is long, so it's good for him to have a break. I make up meals for him to warm up for the week so he's all set. For me on my solo dinner night I tend to do a curry stew that I pour over a baked potato. I love it!!!! Guest guest
I eat this all the time because it takes just minutes to make and it's SO good! I take tortilla chips and put them on a plate. Then I drip salsa over, chop some onion, add some black beans if I have them and sprinkle with cheese on top. Pop in the microwave for about a minute or until the cheese melts. While it's cooking, I'll chop up some avocado and place it on top with a dab of sour cream. I could (and have) eat these every day! ~Ginger , " strayfeather1 " <otherbox2001 wrote: > > Hi all, > > I'm curious about what is your fave thing to eat when you're home > alone and all the omnivores are eating elsewhere for the evening? > > Mine's usually pretty simple - hummus wraps with kale and hot lemon > pickle, or a nice spicy lentil soup with fresh tomatoes on top. > > Peace,
Guest guest
If I,m alone or cooking for the family, we'll probably have kitcheree 3 times a week.( We use naturally unhulled white basmati rice all the time) It's healthy, easy to digest a one pot meal and we make enough to save for later. Plus it tastes great. I usually make it a little different every time. If something works i keep it. At the same time, I like to experiment with other things. Guest guest
I have never had peanut butter and onion, however I love peanut butter and tomato or sometimes peanut butter with lettuce and tomato. gayle
Guest guest
My favorite sandwich is peanut butter, red pepper, carrots, scallions, and chili powder, on a whole wheat bun. glpveg4life Monday, April 17, 2006 1:29:10 PM Re: nosy/curious I have never had peanut butter and onion, however I love peanut butter and tomato or sometimes peanut butter with lettuce and tomato. gayle
Guest guest
My brothers favorite sandwich was Peanut Butter, Mayonnaise and Lettuce. He ate it every day. I never had the courage to try it, but he thrived on it. That's the only thing he carried in his brown bag lunch at school. Joanie
