Guest guest
Hi Jo, how right you are. I used to buy the Worthington TVP in a quart sized box and it's not to be found anymore. I've never seen any tuno, canned or frozen. I just make tofuna from the files. Wasn't Worthington bought out by Morningstar or one of those companies? I've never heard of the frozer version. I'm glad I asked for feedback. Now all I have to do is find it. Thanks! TM
Guest guest
my understanding is that Morningstar also sold products under the name of Worthington and Loma Linda -- Kelloggs then purchased Morningstar along with those " subsidiaries " -- the name differences seemed to occur for labeling purposes -- the more specialized natural food stores like Martindales, etc. carried Worthington and Loma Linda while a supermarket like Safeway, Acme, etc. carried the more commonly known Morningstar -- but I truly believe that the company is not marketing the products very well as some of the products are wonderful and would be purchased if anyone had the opportunity to know they existed -- Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: Hi Jo, how right you are. Guest guest
There's a SDA school not far from my house and once a month a little truck would stop there and sell Worthingtom products and a few other things. Last year he stopped so I never see the products anymore. Guest guest
that's the same deal here with the SDA -- or at least it was -- heard that they had a difficult winter and that there store on wheels could not make the trek down here until further notice -- however I think that might be the end too -- Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: There's a SDA school not far from my house and once a month a little truck would stop there and sell Worthingtom products and a few other things.
