like a German cucumber salad? I have a recipe for that, if that is what you

want I'll dig it up tonight. Let me know. Its my friend's MIL's recipe, she is

German and it is really good. there is a white version and a vinegar

version. AmyF

My grandmother used to make it all the time. She was from Denmark.

I've got the recipe somewhere. I'll see if I can locate it for you.

1 long cucumber, sliced thin

3 T favorite oil

2 T natural, white vinegar

salt, cracked pepper

pinch of sugar

1 med onion, sliced extremely thin

handful of chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill, etc)

adjust to taste by adding more of whatever you want

Or:

1 long cucumber, sliced thin. 1 onion sliced thin.

in a bowl whisk together sour cream, white vinegar, pinch sugar, salt &

pepper to taste, big handful of chopped dill. Mix well, add cucumber & onion.

Important ingredient is dill since it goes great with the sour cream.

Hope this helps, AmyF
