Sprinkle over yogurt for a marinade or as soup thinned with vinegar. Play, play, play.... @@@@@ ALL PURPOSE TURKISH SPICE MIX 1 1/2 teaspoon dried savory 1 tablespoon pickling spice 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon crushed mint leaves 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon ground black pepper Mix all ingredients together. Source: Rossi Pasta Format by Chupa Babi:01.15.05 ----- @@@@@ ALL PURPOSE NORTH AFRICAN SPICE MIX 6 allspice berries 4 cloves 1 1/2 teaspoons black peppercorns 1 1/4 teaspoons coriander seeds 1 teaspoon cumin 1/4 teaspoon cayenne 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon ginger Mortar all ingredients together. Blend everything together. 2. Strain coarsely.
