Guest guest
Well, we do get along in here. It is all about tolerance. The group is basically vegetarian but many of the recipes are vegan or can be made vegan. I've noticed the vegetarians posting try to consider the vegans and add subs in the ingredient list. We also have many members that are non-vegetarians and they are welcome in here too. We are happy to share our recipes and if you are going through the transition we welcome your questions and try to help. I'm vegetarian and eat almost no dairy since I have sow's milk allergy. I get away with a sprinkle of Parnesan or a little aged grated cheddar, and for some reason butter doesn't bother me. I don't eat eggs just because I don't like them but I bake with them but if applesauce or banana will work then I will sub. I don't like vegan or vegetarian snobbery either and I don't like being told I have to wear my seat belt! I appreciate the lack of snobbery, too BUT you must wear your seat belt!! Bethie Beth “The right adult at the right time can make an enormous difference.
