Guest guest
-Deb, I too collect cookbooks and food. I have such a pile of cook books next to my computer that I am calling it an end table. LOL Sometimes it becomes a foot stool. tee hee I had to laugh when our local health dept. advised stocking cupboards with at least 3 months of food in case of the bird flu. My cupboard always has that much food. Never know when I will have drop by company for lunch or supper, and I love it. Guest guest
HI there, can a newby butt in here? I am like you.... I have so many wonderful cookbooks, piled everywhere! My bookshelves are full and I have them in the office and bedroom and kitchen. I love to read them. The cookbook I love most is " Street Food " by James Mayson. Guest guest
Indeed! I have previously told the story of the used bookstore owner in town who always comments on my purchase of " more cookbooks " when I go on my shopping spree every few months. Makes me feel guilty or silly. But, you all have helped me with this. And I'm a hoarder too. Why three cans of tomato puree means I'm low or six cans of beans is the minimum, etc., I don't know. LOL. There too, my weekly $100 grocery bill for one person always made me feel guilty too, but I'm getting better (by not feeling guilty, hehe). -Erin , debra mimaroglu <carrottop638 wrote: > > I'm happy to know there are other cookbookholics and foodholics out there. > Deb M. We are " running low " on something when there's a half an inch left! Ack! He thinks ifthe pantry is full we need to stop grocery shopping until it's used up some... :-
Guest guest
OMG my husband is the exact same way... I swear, I think that men hook up to a master brain every night when they sleep because they are always saying the exact same things....
