Guest guest
Debra, I've looked at that book. For my type it said to eat lots of meat. I did not need to read much further after that. I know a good healer that thought it was good. He eats meat though. Leaky gut is related to candida. Cut out all sugars and dried fruit and banana. Cut out all white flour, seitan and potatoes. It may be a good idea to cut out whole wheat flour if you are allergic to it. I posted a lot of information on eye remedies about 6 weeks ago. You can probably find it if you search these old posts. Good luck GB Eat Right For Your Type/Leaky Gut Syndrome Does anyone have any knowledge of this book? I just posted that I had seen an iridologist. I have a health issue, drusen, it can be a precurser for macular degeneration. I am in my early 40's and drusen is not commanly seen in someone my age. I was told by the ophthamologist to just keep taking my supplements, eat healthy and wear sun glasses. Other than that there isn't much to do but wait till my next appointment and see if it's worse. Great! Not a day goes by that I don't think about losing my sight in my 50's. My parents do not have, nor grandparents did not have, macular degeneration. They do not have drusen either. Sorry, it's taken me a while to get to the reason for my question about the book. We've been vegetarians for about 3 months now. I am happy with our diet. In the book if you are an " O " blood type, which I am, you should not be eating a vegetarian diet. Lots, if not all, grains are bad for you. Legumes aren't too good either. Dairy is pretty much a no no too. If you don't follow a diet that is good for your blood type it can result in lots of different medical conditions. Inflammation of the intestines, etc. Leaky Gut, which is supposedly what I have. This leaky gut syndrome can cause macular degeneration. I'm trying to keep this short so I hope it makes sense. I feel lost now and am not really sure where to go. Thanks in advance for any input/insight, Debra M. Gurubandhu If you cannot see God in all, You cannot see God at all. Guest guest
My blood type is O positive and I'm told to eat meat but I certainly know that's a bunch of trash, I was sick all the time with they type of a diet, I've never felt better than I do now (25 yrs,) of eating a vegetarian diet. Guest guest
I recently saw a holistic doctor who instantly " sold " me the Bloodtype Diet book before even knowing what I was there for. I read it and so did my boyfriend (same bloodtype) - refraining from comment until we were both done. As he is super skinny and in excellent health, I asked him to take note of how his lifestyle was either in line or indifferent to the recommendations in the book. We both felt that it was a ridiculous book. My bloodtype also requires eating some red meat and poultry and to cut out some vegetables and fruit. I don't see any benefit of eliminating any vegetable or fruit from one's diet. I found the book to be a little farfetched and never attempted it. I wish I would have asked the doctor if she were on the diet.
