Guest guest
I have some friends who have tried this diet but gave up on it after a few months. When I read it recommended a diet high in meat for my blood type, I did not look into it any farther! Guest guest
I think the ER4YBT diet works for a lot of people. My husband and I started the bloodtype diet back in January. Hubby had just had a physical, and the doctor wanted to put him on blood pressure medication immediately as his bp was high. Hubby said no, he had something else in mind, and so the doc signed off on his physical (DOT) for only 30 days. We started about the middle of January....at the end of January, hubby went in to be re-tested. His BP had gone down so much they were amazed, and asked him what he was doing. He has lost about 30 pounds, and feels great even though he was a big coffee drinker and had to give it up. He is an O. On the other hand, I am a B, and supposedly should be able to eat dairy. With psoriasis, I find that not to be true, however. I should be able to eat meat as well, but again, that seemed to promote new spots, so I finally decided to go back to my vegetarian...and now gluten-free vegan....ways after a break of many years. I participated in Dr. D'Adamo's forum for a long time, and there are many, many people there who have resolved health issues with that diet. It worked for hubby, but didn't work for me....I can't say that's Dr. D's fault, (or the diet's)....had I not had psoriasis, I probably would still be eating that way. (Minimal meat, some dairy.) The good thing though is that I quickly and easily lost 21 pounds - and was never hungry! All that being said, I do believe I am much happier being a vegan! Guest guest
I personally think the blood type book is bunk. Wish I knew more to help with the drusen. Would a lutein/bilberry supplement help? In the meantime, here are some links I found via google.... http://www.mdsupport.org/library/questions.html http://tinyurl.com/jp3qh http://aolsvc.health.webmd.aol.com/content/article/63/72004.htm?z=4051_00000_700\ 2_to_13 http://www.drweil.com/u/QA/QA59576/ , " debra " <carrottop638 wrote: > > Does anyone have any knowledge of this book?
