Guest guest
You character.LOL Here's my favorite mayo, I haven't eaten non-vegan mayo in years. Ask PT she and I are addicted to it. Everyone in my family loves it and I have a jar at work and you should see the non-vegetarian coworks when they taste it. I have 1.2 the people at work using it now. It's Veganaise and here's the link. http://followyourheart.com/ Donna --- Beth Renzetti <elmothree2000 wrote: > I seem to be having a huge brain fart - is mayo > lactose free? Guest guest
I used to be stubborn about trying anything new until I joined this group. If the members say it's good, trust them. I used to go through jars of Best Foods and now that I started using this one few months ago I have no plans of eating the market shelf Best Foods or Kraft again. Guest guest
Hi Calvin. I just got back from the store - no Veganaise. They had Nayonaise which didn't seem to be in favor here so i left without any. If I ever do get the Veganaise, i'll do a taste test & report back immediately! Guest guest
Just got back from the store and neither store had any vegan or vegetarian mayo at all. The lady looked at me funny when I asked if they had anything like that. Must have my funny horns sticking out of my head. Well still looking, guess I need to travel to find it. thanks and have a great day. Calvin Weeks in Maine Beth Renzetti wrote: > Hi Calvin. I just got back from the store - no Veganaise. Guest guest
really? does it have an eggy taste? I prefer Hellman's over Kraft because it's thicker & not so smooth. Any idea how the vegan versions compare? anyone? whitney <starrypryncess wrote: I know I said to buy Veganaise in an earlier post but my husband and I prefer Nayonaise... It is all we use. Guest guest
I've been using Veganaisse long before I became a vegetarian. It's got such a fresh taste. Makes a good macaroni salad and I use it in my eggless egg salads. I have used the other soy types and they are not of my liking. Guest guest
I was never a big mayonaise(sp?) fan but I think that Nayonaise is pretty spot on tastewise and thicknesswise (that is a new word y'all!:-) ). I find veganaise to be little too oily for my tastes.
Guest guest
Hey Whitney, I am always looking for new words. I play Scrabble and Literati so will try " thicknesswise " . tee hee. I agree with you about Veganaise, but then I never liked Mayo either. As soon as I find the time I am going to try making mustard. Now a honey flavored mustard either for a salad dressing or a sandwhich spread sounds good to me. Donna sent me some wonderful mustard recipes so I'm anxious to make my own .
