as to our previous discussion...

I'm using vinnegar to clean almost everything in my

house - even mop the floors... if something needs a

bit more work (bath tub) I use baking soda

does anyone use home products to do dishes? If not,

which dish soaps are the most eco-firiendly? i always

use " phosphate free " ...

I used Method brands that I get at Target. They are

non-toxic and have their own website if you need to

know about their philosophy. I also use Ecover

dishsoap.

I'm a big fan of methods cleaning products too.

You can also just use plain hand soap to wash dishes. I make my own

cold process soap from vegetable oils and use essential oils for

scent. I've been known to use it soap bars to wash the dishes.

What do you think they did before dish soap?

I also make soap, Jody, though I haven't used it to wash dishes.

Eventually I want to make liquid soap, but I haven't yet. I also use

soap to clean my laundry. Just DON'T use it in the dishwasher. LOL

(Ask me how I know.) Though I make dishwasher soap too. The only thing

my homemade dishwasher soap doesn't clean well is peanut butter.
