I wish you all the best, my Mom has been going through that type of rash. She

is awaiting a biopsy result right now.

The neem oil took it away but it returned a week later.

Let us know what you cooked up for your gluten free meals.

Dear Donna,

I am grateful for the reply :-)

However, I have never heard of Neem Oil.

But I will go to my local Health Food shop and ask if they have any for

sale.

For the moment, I feast on fresh salads and rice.

Today, I just had Lemon Tea at 10am and a Kiwi fruit and an apple.

12:30pm I had Basmati rice and fresh salad with a generous sprinkle of Olive

Oil.

My salad is made out of fresh tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, onions and

olives...all sliced up and mixed thoroughly.

I can't have a Sandwich because of the wheat content in bread :-(

As for Pasta, I know Buitoni do one without wheat( i.e. gluten free).

I wanna make a list of gluten free food so that I don't buy any food that is

not gluten free.

Maybe you guys can help me? <smile>

Gluten Free Food ;-

1. All fresh vegetables

2. Cheese

3. Milk

4. Beans such as French Beans, Runner Beans, etc, etc.

5. Tofu

6. Dry Beans such as Kidney Beans, Gungu Peas, Black-Ey-Peas, etc, etc.

7. ? <can't think of anymore now :-( >

Tonight I am going to have Rice and Spiced Pulses and I am gonna spice it up

with Jerk Seasoning.

I bought a bottle of Jerk Seasoning in a Jamaican Store not very long ago.

It smells and looked fantastic :-)

BTW, I have a tin of Ackee also which I got from the same shop, yay! :-)

Best Wishes,

Wee,

I don't know if you were interested in pasta but Tinkyada makes brown rice

pasta, wheat and gluten free. My kids loved it when they had it and I thought

it was pretty good too. We have a friend whose daughter has celiac and when

they come to visit that's a brand of pasta she likes.

I have a friend who has Celiac disease, and from what I hear, you have to be

really careful with anything soy - apparently, most soy products are processed

with wheat (or a part of the wheat grain) somehow.

Dear Debra,

That is so kind.

I am grateful for the heads-up :-)

Until now, I have never heard of Tinkyada.

And that is because I have only recently discovered that I have Celiac :-(

I am sure I will like to eat that too <big smile>

Best Wishes,

That is a brand that may not be available over here in the UK. Orgran

make a range of rice and corn pasta which are gluten free which you

should be able to buy in London, Wee. Check out your local whole Food

shop.

I'm sorry I didn't know you were in the UK till after I posted. I did

search tinkyada here and they are actually a Canadian company:

Wee,

Have you actually been tested for celiac? Why do you think it is celiac? A

celiac diet will certainly not hurt your rash. I have my doubt if it will

" cure " it though. In another post you said it looked like ringworm. If it

looks like ringworm, it probably is ringworm. Being allergic to gluten is a

common allergy and staying away from gluten is not a bad thing. If it is not

ringworm, then find out what you are allergic to. There are lots of ways to

find out. There are some herbal ringworm treatments also. It seems as if you

are resigned to celiac though.

Good luck

Dear GB,

I am grateful for the reply :-)

I have not been tested for Celiac.

I was comparing pictures I googled with my symptoms and it look the same.

My skin was not as bad as the ones I saw in the googled pictures since it is

early stages.

But if I leave it alone, it may become the same as those pictures, I saw.

I saw my Doctor today.

He doesn't think it is ringworm.

He thinks it is some fungal skin problems which needs to be eliminated.

He took swabs samples for testing today and prescribed " Fucibet " and some

liquid(I lost that paper now).

The liquid, I must use it like soap during bath times(must find it later).

We shall see after 3-4 weeks when I revisit my Doctor.

I have already booked an advance appointment to revisit.
