Guest guest
Yes, I have them both and I use them the correct way. The black peeler on the left really cuts me up. I use lethal weapons to peel garlic, chop tomatoes and onions but give me a potato peeler of any sort and I end up with bandaids ...LOL Donna wwjd <jtwigg wrote: http://www.cooking.com/techniques/vidtech.asp?id=30 Don't know if this would help, but worth a try. - wwjd Thursday, May 18, 2006 9:07 PM Re: Potato Peelers - Donna Do you pull it down, while you hold the potato with the other hand? I just pull it down, top to bottom, like a razor and then turn it and get another section. I like it so much better than a regular peeler. They fly over a potato or c carrot like it is nothing. Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear that. That is really too bad. My mom cut up things, like a tomato's and potato's, making grid like cuts down and then cutting it off across, so that it would come out diced, all the while holding it in the palm of her other hand and I do the same, when I am not near my mandoline.
