Now what are poppy seeds, cardamom, mustard seeds,cinnamon, horseradish root good for, I use those all the time, oh and my butter (just kidding about that one, it's good for my taste buds). TCM: Tonifies kidney-yang; nourishes bone and sinew; warms kidney and spleen Indications: cold-spleen and cold-kidney symptoms; deficient kidney-yang; vomiting and diarrhea due to internal cold Dosage: decoction: 3-10 grams, in two doses, on an empty stomach. It helps break down fats in your digestive system, possibly by boosting the activity of some digestive enzymes. You can dust a bit of cinnamon on cuts and scrapes (it contains eugenol) which helps relieve the pain of household mishaps. Turmeric is one of the most useful spices for health. It is good foro the joints and mucous membranes. Mustard seeds are good for circulation appetizer and emetic. Cinnamon is a stimulant and helps regulate blood sugar. Cardamon is useless. Just kidding. It is a digestive aid, used to treat colds and lungs and liver. Horseradish is good for allergies, colds, sinuses and lungs. I reaad an article one time on a town that used horseradish to treat their septic supply. It worked much better than and chemical.
