Fiddlehead ferns Hi Jody

Your blog is lovely. I have yet to ever see fiddlehead ferns. I know last

month Guru talked about making them. I've looked and no one knows what I'm

talking about, they send me to the plant section.......LOL

I will not give up, somewhere they should be for sale.

Today was the Walk For Animals at a park near me. I stopped by with a

few donations and walked. We lucked out weather wise. During the

walk, my aunt and I saw fiddle heads ferns. Later at whole foods, I

found fiddleheads for sale. I bought some and cooked them up for

dinner. (They also made the blog.)

Where do you live if you don't mind me asking. I've read that

fiddleheads are a New England thing. If you have a Whole Foods, I

would check there or maybe a local farm or farmer's market.

I'm in LA I can find some very strange fruits and vegetables but I have never

seen those.

i think they're a new england thing. i've never looked for them elsewhere, lol.

They are a New England delicacy. I have seen them in a

Giant in Maryland however <smile>
