Guest guest
This is usually lunch on Saturday to make room in the refrigerator for Sundays groceries. TVP Vegetable Dump Soup 1 cup TVP reconstituted 3 vegetable bouillon cubes 1 can tomato sauce 3 quarts water (or use veg. broth and no bouillon cubes) 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 1 onion, chopped 1 garlic clove. minced 1/2 tsp basil, dried 1 tsp parsley, dried 1 can mushrooms, cut up 6 cups mixed vegetables, chopped 1/2 lb noodles of any shape 1 1-lb can tomatoes, cut up Dump the water in a large pot. Bring to a boil; add bouillon cubes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, parsley, onion, garlic and basil. Add TVP and vegetables into pot and simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat. Add mushrooms, tomatoes and the noodles and boil another 8-10 minutes. If you don't have noodles then dump in 1/2 cup uncooked rice and cook for 15 minutes instead of 8-10 minutes. Ladle into bowls and eat with a bread roll.
